Bright sun dates won the Oman web award 2009 in FMCG (F&B) category.

Mr. Hilal Zahir Al-Kindy, The owner of BSD, with his 35 years of experience played a vital role in all of these achievement. His career in this market started in 1974 with the first two date factories established by the ministry of agriculture, Oman and he was the director of both the factories. During this period he learned enough about the dates and also he attended many reference courses in Oman and other countries.

In 1996, the Ministry of Agriculture handed over the two date factories to private sector and Mr. Hilal Zahir Al-Kindy continued with them. In 1998, he decided to continue his career in association with other major date factories in oman and he contributed his service to them for the next seven years.

In 2005, he decided to establish Bright Sun Dates production company, completely under his direction from the vast experience his achieved in the past.

BSD always seeks opportunities to spread its name and reputation.In regard to the marketing it is programmed in such a way to reach all our products in every home locally and internationally. BSD is planning to produce different types of consumable date products to meet the demand of the customers.
